Biography

Geraldo F. Burani, Brazilian, born February 18th 1948, is an Electrical Engineer graduated at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (EPUSP) in 1972, obtained the Licentiate Degree in Physics at Education School of USP (FEUSP). In 1973 and 1985 obtained, respectively, the Master and the PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering at EPUSP. Professor of EPUSP since 1973. Director of the Institute of Electrotechnics and Energy of University of São Paulo (IEE/USP) from 2002 to 2006. Currently is The Director of the Instrumentation Division of IEE/USP and Vice Coordinator for the Campus of São Paulo City of the USP (CUASO).
